½ñÍíÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û

All students in the ½ñÍíÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û-MBA dual-degree program complete the courses and clerkships required for the ½ñÍíÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û degree and also complete a minimum of 8 courses (24 credits of required courses) in the WMU Haworth College of Business. Twelve credits of coursework will transfer for the WMed curriculum (see table below).

It is recommended that students complete the first three years of the medical degree program, complete the MBA coursework in year four, and return to the medical school curriculum for year five and the final year of the dual-degree program. Other schedules are feasible as well.

Year four is 12 months and includes WMU Summer I, Summer II, Fall, and Spring semesters. Required MBA courses (8 courses for a total of 24 credits) taken in Year 4 include:

• MBA 6001 – Communication, Negotiation, and Presentation Skills for Managers (3 credits)
• MBA 6002 – Leadership for Managers (3 credits)
• MBA 6003 – Data Analytics for Managerial Decision Making (3 credits)
• MBA 6004 – Finance for Managerial Decision Making (3 credits)
• MBA 6005 – Accounting for Managerial Decision Making (3 credits)
• MBA 6006 – Marketing for Managerial Decision Making (3 credits)
• MBA 6007 – Strategic Management (3 credits)
• One three-credit elective from:
  • MBA 6010 – Process Management Strategy
  • MBA 6011 – Business Law and Ethics
  • MBA 6012 – Sustainable Business Strategies for Managers
  • MBA 6013 – Trade and Global Business Strategy
  • MBA 6014 – Advanced Analytics for Managerial Decision Making
